We invite you to submit program proposals for the 21st Annual Newark Pride Festival!

This year’s theme, “Our Bodies. Our Stories. Our POWER!”, is both a declaration and a call to action. It affirms that our identities, lived experiences, and collective joy are sources of strength. In a time when our communities continue to navigate systemic challenges, we are creating space to be seen, heard, and celebrated—on our own terms.

We are seeking dynamic, community-centered programming that entertains, educates, and activates. We especially encourage proposals that uplift underrepresented voices, foster intergenerational dialogue, advance health and wellness, promote civic engagement, and celebrate the richness of the LGBTQ+ diaspora.

Selected partners will play a vital role in shaping a week of transformative experiences across Newark. All programs should align with our mission to educate, advocate, and empower, while reflecting the spirit of this year’s theme.

Proposals must be submitted by Friday, May 15, 2026 at 8:00 PM EDT. We invite you to review the full Request for Proposals for detailed guidelines, requirements, and selection criteria.
