Our Bodies. Our Stories. Our POWER!

Celebrating 21 years of love, liberation, and community in the heart of Newark.

A Beacon of Liberation

Dear Community,

For over two decades, Newark Pride has stood as a courageous space for our vibrant LGBTQ+ family. This year, we invite you to Newark Pride Week 2026—a week defined by purpose, healing, and joy. From powerful conversations and wellness experiences to parties, performances, and community gatherings, we've created an unforgettable week designed to uplift and empower our LGBTQ+ community.

We begin our journey on Monday, July 13, in the Newark City Hall Rotunda for our annual Progressive Pride Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by a celebratory reception at the Chateau of Spain. We will end our week on Sunday, July 19th with our 21st Annual Newark Pride Parade and Festival in the Park -- we sincerely hope that you will join us as we reclaim our stories and honor our power.

In solidarity,

Alonzo S. Blalock President & CEO
